Foundation Summary
The Great Falls Clinic Legacy Foundation is located in Great Falls, the hub of North Central Montana and serves patients and their families traveling to Great Falls for medical treatment by providing free, temporary housing and other amenities and programs.
Foundation History
In 2015, the Great Falls Clinic physician partners (now owned by Surgery Partners) recognized traveling patients’ financial and emotional struggles and conceived of the Foundation after hearing about this challenge repeatedly.
In 2020, the Legacy Foundation broke ground on its new patient housing facility and opened the doors to Harold & Carmen Poulsen Legacy Housing in 2021. Since then, the Foundation has served thousands of patients traveling across the U.S.
