Leading with Service, Strengthening Community
The Great Falls Clinic Legacy Foundation is proud to spotlight Jon Boutilier, President of the Board of Directors, Vice President and Branch Manager at Stockman Bank, and a dedicated advocate for patients and families served through the Legacy House.
A respected community leader with deep Montana roots, Jon joined the Legacy Foundation Board in late 2020. Since then, he has played an important role in advancing the Foundation’s mission and helping ensure the Legacy House remains a welcoming place of comfort and support for those traveling to Great Falls for medical care.
Jon’s passion for the Foundation stems from the meaningful impact the Legacy House has on patients and families during some of life’s most challenging moments.
“We are providing valuable resources to people in major need,” Jon says. “I am passionate about helping organizations in Great Falls learn about all the great things we do.”
In January of this year, Jon stepped into the role of Board President after previously serving as Vice President of the Board. His leadership journey reflects a deep commitment to the Foundation’s mission and a strong belief in supporting patients and families who rely on the Legacy House. As President, Jon brings valuable community relationships, strategic insight, and a passion for helping others while guiding the Foundation’s continued growth and impact across the region.
“It has continued to show that Great Falls always has more than people know,” he says. “It’s another story of Great Falls that nobody knew about. As the Great Falls Clinic has grown into the Great Falls Hospital, we’ve seen the Legacy House grow as well.”
Over the years, Jon has had the opportunity to witness firsthand how the Legacy House eases burdens for families facing difficult medical journeys. Through his leadership and advocacy, he continues to help raise awareness about the difference the House makes every day.
Looking ahead, Jon sees exciting opportunities for growth.
When asked what he envisions for the future of the Legacy House, his answer is simple:
“A second location.”
For those who have never experienced the Legacy House firsthand, Jon encourages community members to visit and see its impact for themselves.
“You need to come spend a day, an hour, or just five minutes sitting and observing in the lobby of the House, and you’ll see what it’s doing. You can’t see that by driving by. But if you come in and watch the guests and learn what they’re going through and why it’s important for them to have a facility to go rest at, you’ll understand why we’re doing what we’re doing.”
Under Jon’s leadership, the Foundation continues to strengthen connections throughout the community while advancing its mission of providing comfort, compassion, and hope to patients and families when they need it most.
