Think Pink for the Girls Donates to the Legacy House!

Think Pink for the Girls Committee is a non-profit established in 2012 to help raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness and assistance. Every year they hold an annual “Think Pink Tea” to raise funds to help women in Montana who are in the fight against breast cancer. They currently work with the North Central Cancer Support Fund, and as of 2022, the Great Falls Clinic Legacy Foundation.

In May of 2022, Kristen Ostberg – Secretary for Think Pink for the Girls, reached out to the Legacy Foundation to inquire about donating. Located in Central Montana, they had recently heard about our organization and were interested in helping us help patients, especially cancer patients. At the end of 2022, 24% of the patients with cancer staying at the Legacy House were being treated for breast cancer. Fast forward to December 2022, and The Think Pink Tea was a hit this year! After all of the tallies had been made, Think Pink for the Girls generously donated $20,000 to the Legacy House! These funds have been ear marked to help our breast cancer, and cancer patients that stay with us in any way we are able.

We are incredibly grateful to the Think Pink for the Girls Committe for thinking of the Legacy Foundation and for bestowing such a donation to our organization. We look forward to our continued partnership with such a wonderful and needed organization in our community.
